It was designed and built by an architect who lived in The Old Church, which used to be the parish church of All Saints, built in 1859 to designs by the architect N.E. Clacey, but converted into a home in the 1970’s.

Just over the railway bridge from there, you’ll find a small country lane. At the end of this lane, you’ll turn into the driveway of The Old Church, where the owners live, and you continue down to the end of the drive to your own ample parking area in front of the cottage.
At the back of the cottage is your own private garden, backing onto the woods. For about three weeks in April and May, part of the garden and the woods are blanketed with bluebells.
In the garden you’ll find a dining table and chairs, deck chairs; a bbq is available on request. There is also secure storage for bikes if you need it.
The glazed front door leads into a hall area with a built-in cupboard housing the washing machine, hoover etc
Continuing around the corner, you enter the large L-shaped open plan living area which is double-height and has exposed beams giving it lots of character and space.
