The Swan Inn is a family run, traditional 16th Century Pub in Lechlade. Debbie, Stuart and all the team offer a very warm welcome to all who visit this area on the edge of Gloucestershire, with all its country charm and atmosphere. With boats meandering along the river thames, as well as fishing, walking, it is one of the most enchanting places in The South.
Food is served every day. The menu is varied with all dishes home made on the premises with locally sourced ingredients where available. As the food is freshly made then any changes or allergies can be accommodated where possible.
Being very dog friendly, dogs are allowed anywhere in the bar.

Located above a traditional countryside pub, the rooms at The Swan Inn have all the facilities required for a relaxing stay. Each room is en-suite with a shower and comes complete with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Certain rooms have the added luxury of a 4 poster bed.
Breakfast is available on request. The local shops, pubs and restaurants of Lechlade are within a 5 minute walk.
The property is a 5 minute walk from the River Thames, from where it is possible to take a boat tour or join the Thames Footpath. The famous St Lawrence’s Church is less than 100 yards away.
The Swan Inn is perfectly situated on the edge of the Cotswolds with many places of interest nearby. The picturesque town of Burford is 8 miles away, Kelmscot Manor 3 miles, Swindon railway station is 12 miles away and Oxford can be reached in 40 minutes by car.

a month agoEverything about The Swan Inn is lovely. Our room is spacious with two really comfortable armchairs, a large four poster bed, quiet and a really friendly atmosphere.
