Our stay here was one of the highlights of our recent, all to brief, NC500 tour. Catherine and her family were absolutely charming and welcomed us and our pooch into the house. The house is amazing with so much history, set in lovely grounds and is super dog friendly and our dog settled in immediately. The local pub is not dog friendly, so Catherine offered to pick up a takeaway along with her order from Wick. This was so kind! We shared a lovely evening eating delicious food and drinking wine. The room was great for our needs. Breakfast was hearty and great coffee which set us up for our next leg. Wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend to others. We hope to return!

What a charming place full of character and family history. The host Catherine and her mum where two of the friendliest people we have met so far on our trip (NC500). Also the most comfortable bed ever and delicious breakfast.

Lovely place with delightful owners. Don't expect Scandi-chic surroundings, but enjoy the slightly faded glory of a Scottish Country House. Superb breakfast. Great local archeology.

House and Katherine and her mum, top marks. Secluded wooded area where the house stands which in itself is very interesting. Good breakfast. The room we stayed in was overdue a much needed update to say the least.
